Scott Kersner, Editor of Mortgage Technology magazine, writes a good article about “How To Compete With the Giants”. He stresses the fact that competition is getting tighter and that brokers compete against the very lenders they represent. Kersner emphasizes that “brokers have to do more than just send out birthday cards.”
He spotlights both Mortgage Coach and Deal Maker (which helps brokers help customers repair their credit score) as two software products that can help loan officers differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
